The preschool had a great month! It is fun to watch the children so anxiously engaged in their works. In their language groups they have been working on the sounds “o,” ”g”, and “f” this month. The first week the children cooked their own griddle cakes for the “g” sound and last week we traced their feet and made funny feet for the “f” sound. The sounds they have learned this year are: a, c, d, f, g, h, l, m, n, o, p, s and t. They have also been sending home mystery bags.
December 22nd they enjoyed their Christmas dinner with soup and breadsticks. They had works for the children to help prepare the meal. They chopped the carrots, celery, and potatoes for the soup and they also rolled out their own breadsticks. They have enjoyed learning about the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ this month and when they return from the Christmas break they will be learning about Africa.
